It says in the Lech Zurs Tourist Office page www.lech/zeurs.at
That there is something always going on. ell if that is the case lets see.
I know that Zurs is largely closed during the summer months so lets look
at Lech shall we?
Well for starters there's a forest swinning pool.
This is naturally enough found on the banks of the Lech river and is warm
to 25 degrees centigrade water, a huge kids pool and romantic lawns for
visitors and a playground for kids. About the only thing I am not sure of
is the temperature of the water; it says in the tourist office blurb that
it is 250 degrees.
As well as tennis courts and beach volley ball
These too are reputed to be on the banks of the river Lech and who are we
to argue? Well there are two clay tennis courts and one beach volleyball
court whci are open from 9;30 til 7:PM. So reserve your time and pick your
Oh there's Golf too.
It is called the Lech Golf Academy and it is just that. A golf academy.
You see it has three holes, a driving range and a putting green. As well
it has a bunker hole (you know what those are right?) Well its a great
place to practise, not to play a round. The golf academy also includes a
vidoe analyist machine so you can improve just about any part of your
game. Within one hours drive there are a good ten courses where you can
play to your heart's content.
There's lots of other action too.
Like hiking, cable cars and kids playgrounds and the like. Here there is
something for all comers and, as Lech is largely open in the summer all
kinds of action can be found.
